All-on-4® Implants La Verne, CA
Tooth loss is incredibly common. Whether due to dental trauma or advanced dental cavities, you may find yourself missing multiple teeth or anticipating the need to have several teeth extracted. The All-on-4® treatment concept is one of the most effective options for whole mouth restoration, making it a good option for patients who long for a second chance at a confident smile. At Elevated Dentistry, we are pleased to provide All-on-4® dental implants with our implant specialist for our patients in La Verne, CA, and the surrounding community.

What Is the All-on-4® Treatment Concept?
The All-on-4® treatment concept is known as the “smile in a day” treatment and is absolutely life-changing. This service is for those who are missing all or several teeth in a row. With this method, our doctors can replace entire dental arches using just four implants in a single day. Our highly specialized lab will design your new set of teeth so they either “snap” on the implants or so they are permanently fixed to the implants. Either way, these new teeth function very similarly to your own natural teeth without the risk of them becoming loose or falling out like traditional dentures.
Dental implants are widely considered to be the gold standard of tooth replacement because they are the only option that replaces the tooth root, providing more stability and better overall health than other options.

Did You Know?
With the All-on-4® dental implant method, you need just four implants to rebuild a healthy, radiant smile.
The Benefits of All-on-Four
Preserves Natural Jawbone
The All-on-4® treatment concept replaces your teeth while stimulating your jaw to prevent jawbone resorption, preventing unwanted changes to your facial appearance. No other tooth replacement option does this.
Permanent Tooth Replacement
And, as a dental implant procedure, the prosthesis used for the All-on-4 treatment concept is stable and permanently attached to your smile. Unlike traditional dentures, your replacement teeth will not fall out when you talk, and they will allow you to chew anything, enjoying all your favorite foods as normal.
Minimally-Invasive
Additionally, All-on-4® dental implants are a less invasive procedure than replacing multiple teeth with multiple implants. Both the temporary and the final prosthesis look like natural teeth and can be cleaned like natural teeth, simply with regular brushing and a Waterpik.
The All-on-4® Implant Process
Consultation
At your consultation, the doctors at Elevated Dentistry will examine your teeth and jaw and take stock of your medical history. Dr. Banner, Dr. Marc, and Dr. Peterson will take a full set of radiographs, intraoral photos, cone beam CT scan, and a 3D digital scan of your mouth. This information will be used to ensure your eligibility for a safe and successful procedure and to develop a treatment plan just for you.
Day of Surgery
On the day of surgery, either ‘twilight’ or ‘general’ sedation will be administered to ensure your comfort and safety. Our doctors will remove any necessary teeth, place dental implants and provide the temporary restoration you will wear during your recovery process. This temporary restoration is typically fixed to the implants so you can walk away this day with a beautiful smile and functional teeth.
The Recovery Process
Before discharge, you will receive full instructions for aftercare and recovery, including medication requirements and dietary guidelines. During recovery from dental implant surgery, you will need to stick to a diet of sugar-free liquids and soft foods, including soups. The main healing period is about 2 weeks. After this time, you will be able to progress to more advanced foods and drinks. For the implants to fully integrate, it will take 6 months.
The Final Restoration
Once your implants have been integrated (approx. 6 months), you will return for updated scans, measurements, and design planning to create custom prostheses to match your ideal smile. Once designed and fabricated, you will return to have the temporary prostheses removed and the permanent prosthesis placed.
